Vienna, Va., December 2007 - Comtech LLC is a member of the SBD Alliant Joint Venture team selected by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) for its Alliant Small Business (Alliant SB) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) contracts. The contracts are designed to promote an integrated information technology (IT) solution with the flexibility to support the federal government's needs in its daily operations, its protection of infrastructure, the fight against terrorism and the development and marketing of emerging technologies.
Alliant SB has a base term of five years, one five-year option period, and a total ceiling value for all awardees of $15 billion if all options are exercised. It supports a wide variety of contract types including fixed- price, cost-reimbursement, time-and-materials, among others.
