On January 15, 2013, Comtech was awarded the General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Information Technology and Development Services. This multiple-award BPA, awarded in accordance with the GSA Federal Supply Schedule 70 - SIN 132-51, has a five-year term and a contract ceiling value of $150 million. Comtech is eligible to compete for BPA Calls to provide GSA PBS support in the following areas:

- Application Development and Maintenance Support, including Mobile and Cloud-Based Applications

Comtech expanded our ISO 9001:2008 scope to include providing quality IT and network services and products for Comtech personnel, government agencies, and commercial customers in a recent three-year full registration audit. ISO 9001:2008 is the International Standard for Quality Management Systems. This standard substantiates our company’s commitment to quality, our customers, and continuous improvement.

Comtech has recently implemented Salesforce and Salesforce Chatter to improve Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and internal employee communication. Salesforce is a CRM tool that allows for easy tracking, integrating, and reporting of information such as customer details and leads. This tool also assists in automating business processes and cutting down on paperwork, increasing efficiency and reducing wasted time and resources. Salesforce is a customizable tool that Comtech will use to track employee ideas for future business endeavors, technologies, and marketing concepts.

Comtech has been accepted into the General Services Administration’s Mentor Protégé program with Deloitte Consulting LLP. The company received its formal approval letter on October 23, 2012 from the GSA. Mentor/Protégé relationships are approved by the GSA after a small and large business pair collectively submit an application, complete a needs assessment, and establish a teaming agreement. This program was designed to enable the GSA to award a greater number of contracts to small businesses.
