With a sound understanding of application development process, Comtech has built a strong Federal web and application development process. The Comtech Web and Application Development Teams use Rapid Applications Development (RAD) to quickly verify user requirements and develop system enhancements in support of high priority, short timeframe requests. For example, we developed a security awareness tool that monitors all network traffic and identifies potential malicious activity and notifies the appropriate administrators. We have also developed multiple web portals and asset tracking systems for civilian agencies.

An outstanding example of Comtech’s approach to web-based applications and services is a security defense system we developed which includes a Graphic User Interface (GUI) for administration of security events, management of the network infrastructure and associated inventory, and documentation for Regional administrators and staff. We have also developed numerous web applications for agency case management.

Working with another civilian agency, we developed collaboration between and among Notes applications, integration with the Oracle and Java-developed back end, and access to appropriate expertise to develop and deploy portal applications.
