New Castle County, DE awarded Comtech LLC Information Technology Contract Services from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012. This contract may be extended for an additional four (4) years, one (1) year at a time.

Services to be performed cover the spectrum from local desktop applications to large-scale integrated systems, and involve a variety of software languages and hardware platforms. Currently, New Castle County utilizes a client server environment with Oracle and SQL Server databases, Unix Servers, Dell Servers, VMWare, and EMC storage. Specific skill sets include SQL, PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Active Directory, VMWare, Juniper, and Kbox. However, services required will not be limited to these skills. New Castle County also supports a large network and utilizes a Helpdesk to manage desktop and user issues.

Comtech shall have in place a project management and organizational structure to appropriately manage substantial contract support operations involving multiple projects and
personnel at various New Castle County locations.
